What annoys you most about DCUM posters?

In particular the one who doesn't capitalize "I" and types "i". Otherwise, the sanctimonious mothere who believe TV is going to eat their child's brain and the ones who don't give their children sweets but they eat them. "We're Pregnant" "nanniversary," brag about their Ivy League degrees? If there anyone I, who doesn't have an Ivy League degree and was summa, summa at Harvard, Harvard Law, and now is in Big Law. I have more but someone else needs a turn. |

The ones who essentially berate other parents for not being wealthy. I cringe every time I read, "If you can't afford X, you shouldn't have had children!" Ouch, people. |

The holier than thou posters who think they are above the nastiness of DCUM. I think those that really *are* above it probably aren't posting a "Goodbye DCUM" thread just to make sure - anonymously - that everybody knows that they (anonymous person) is leaving us.
The grammar police suck as well. |

i type like this all the time on the forum, and people have berated me for being too "lazy" to use the shift key. i really don't see the big deal with just typing in lowercase. i'm not writing an official email. it's a forum. of course i use the shift key when i'm typing an official email etc. but if it's casual, then i just don't bother. my husband and i type like this in our emails to each other throughout the day. i also wonder if it's maybe a generational thing... a lot of people my age type like this. but everyone has their own annoyances and pet peeves...so whatever. |

Honestly, friends, can we admit that this very thread is a form of passive-aggressive revenge? A lot of the complaints here seem to be directed at (a) somebody who criticized the poster directly, or (b) somebody who posted to all of DCUM but the poster took it very personally.... |
