Poster 18:41 I cannot believe you think you are being funny, but that is such an inappropriate comment. Perfect example of hiding behind the anonymous nature of this site - I am willing to bet you would never make such a statement in person. Shame on you.

Couldn't agree more. Someone was senselessly murdered and this jackass makes a joke of it. 18:41---YOU are the reason that everyone on this forum can't stand living here.

OP, we live in the Sumner area (between Mass/Ft Sumner/Sangamore) and just love it here. For 1 mil, you will be on the smaller/lower range of houses, but it's a beautiful neighborhood with a very friendly feel (wine and cheese gatherings for neighbors, community Halloween Parade, good mix of young families, older folks who have been here a while, and folks in the middle, etc). We've been here a year and already feel very at home. Sumner is right on the Cap Crescent trail, so we have all the access to nature and the Little Falls Creek while still being close in (takes 20 min to get to the mall when not rush hour). We liked Edgemoor too, but were completely priced out at our price range (which was same as yours). Good luck finding the right neighborhood for you.
