Hashimoto's and fertility

Hi there! I was the first to reply to this thread way back on 2/20/2011. I have Hashimoto's. I just wanted to report that I got pregnant on my 2nd IVF and delivered twins in Sept. of this year (2013). It was a long road getting here (2years of ovulation kits and acupuncture + herbs, 1full year of ART with 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs), but we did eventually conceive. I know everyone's situationis unique, but I am writing to provide hope to anyone out there struggling with infertility and thyroid disease. I will never really know why I had so much trouble conceiving, but I really don't think it was related to my thyroid.

I'm sending hopeful thoughts and support out to all of you ladies who are still in their journey to conceive. It is a tough road, I know. Hang in there!
