Thank you! I am not very tech savy so do I have to contact these people to see what is going on or are they the people who have hacked into my friend's account? I'm confused. Thanks.

from ARIN poster: I would call yahoo and ask them for help, they can do something about it, these IPs can be from computers that have been compromised by hackers and maybe even this company is the hacker (the dream people), I say go to yahoo and take it from there.

For some reason, this email is appearing in my blackberry but not in my regular yahoo email account. When I click on view headers, that is all that appears. I am not sure if I accidentally deleted the original email from my email account or what but it only shows on the blackberry and I have downloaded software on the blackberry that allows me to view headers and what I posted is all that I am getting. There is even an option to that allows me to click on viewing "all information" and when I click on that, I still get the same thing. What I am wondering is is there a way for me to stop this or what should I do given that the full headers are unavailable? Thanks.

Apparently, when email get relayed through to a Blackberry device, the headers get screwed up. Is it possible that the message got filtered to your Yahoo junkmail folder? Or, do you get mail for more than one account on the Blackberry? Maybe it didn't go to your Yahoo account.

Without knowing more about what is causing the mail to be sent to you, it is hard to know how to stop it. The full headers will allow us to see the path the email took to get to you, as well as the date it arrived at each step of the path.

There is another possibility since you are using a Blackberry. Email does not go directly to a Blackberry. It goes to a regular email server, such as Yahoo's server, and then uses one of two methods to get to a Blackberry server. It get pushed by the Blackberry server to your device. It's possible that something screwed up between Yahoo and Blackberry and some old mail got pushed.

I am sure that you are trying to help, but you are providing incorrect information that is going to cause the original poster to waste a lot of time and effort. The original poster has not been able to identify an IP address. Therefore, she has no IP address to provide Yahoo. Moreover, she cannot even find the email on the Yahoo server at the moment. You need to read the thread closer. The headers I posted were simply an example for the original poster so that she would know what to look for. Chasing the IP addresses in that email is not going to help the original poster.

Thanks - when I checked the bberry and it definitely went to my regular yahoo account. I think I just accidentally deleted it. I will do some digging and see if I can find any additional info. about the email and post it if I can. Thanks.
