Demonstration tomorrow

I hope the OP doesn't support the protests that were outside the Speaker's house. Seems excessive.

OP here. I was at the demonstration. He did not speak to us. We were not allowed to go to his door to leave a letter for him, and it was removed from his fence by his protection squad so he would not have to see it. I'm impressed that you have so much empathy for him that you feel we were excessive in our attempt to petition for redress of our grievance. That First Amendment sure has some rotten stuff in it

One of his neighbors was there, and said he not only did not show up at their block party, but did not move his car -- the only one on the street that day. A real good neighbor!
