Rice cooker?

Silly question here but can a rice cooker perform other functions in addition to cooking rice?

PP here. As I said in my response, I got a Sanyo that is also a slow-cooker, porridge maker (both Asian rice porridge and things like polenta), and steamer. It has a timer, to start cooking whenever you set it to. And, of course, it makes bitchin' rice. It's awesome.

I think there are even rice cookers out there with built-in bread machines?
