willard vs. mayflower for afternoon tea?

+1 I wouldn't go back to the Willard. You sit in a hall (they even say it's in the "Peacock Alley"!) and people can stroll by on their way to the restaurant. tea was good enough, but the atmosphere can't compare to the mayflower ritz or jefferson
