Lunch in Georgetown

They used to have parking at the Daily Grill on Wisconsin...if they still do -- they would be convenient and the food is good. Chadwick's is a "Cheers-like" place -- food is fine and they love kids...even give them balloons. Paolos is good on Wisconsin...the Mexican place...Los Cuates is fine too. The Tombs is fun to see people like JTIII.

2Amys is not in Georgetown. It's all the way up Wisconsin in Cathedral Heights/Cleveland Park.

Yes, def. Peacock Cafe b/c there's occasionally parking on Prospect. "Down Under" Cafe La Ruche might be okay, just don't know if the baby would be very comfortable. Tackle Box might be hard with the long communal picnic table-style seating.
Is Mendocino Grille open for lunch?

I would second Cafe LaRouche and Farmers and Fishers. I think the food is good at Tackle Box, but they don't serve you...you serve yourself...not sure your sis would like that idea. Paolos is good on Wisconsin.

I know the type. In the heart of G'town is Leopold's cafe. It is actually kid-friendly (there are always kids in there). Even if she doesn't like schnitzel (yum!) and linzer torte, you can tell her how chic she looks on the designer furniture. There could be better pastry shop-cafes, but at least it looks cool. Although it was in Real Housewives of DC, don't hold that against them.

I second Leopold's.
