| A good old American-made motor, between 4-6 cylinders for eight people. A Hemi will serve twelve as a side. |
| Birthday cake, but only a chocolate one. Yellow cake would "wash out" the beef stew. |
| Serve it with a chaser of Johnnie Walker Blue Label or don't serve it at all. |

If I want to be fancy I serve beef stew in a bread bowl. I scoop out the inside and cut it up and serve that in a platter. I also make a salad. I dont do a side of veggies since the stew typically has so many in it. If it a really casual dinner, I put it over egg noodles. |
| It depends on the season. In the fall, I serve each portion in a small pumpkin. In winter, I create an elaborate ice sculpture to hold each guest's repast, which I encourage them to eat along with the stew to experience winter's icy grasp. In spring, I find bird's nests, scavenged locally (for all those "locavores"!) to be a charming edible container of the season. And in summer, I hire fair maidens to hold the stew in their cupped hands. Why, nothing says summer like the blush of youth! Though the maids are not edible (for any price it seems). So you might want to add a salad perched on the head or a particularly ample bosom. |

OMG I'm laughing so hard. I am very confused, but very amused.
Sorry this (whatever this is) happened to your thread, OP. |
Yes! Waffled Taro Fries...what a great idea. For that "Asian fusion meets comfort food" vibe. |
| Upon my word, tincture of rosemary makes a delightful addition, and dare I say elevates the pabulum of beef stew to levels of gastronomical bliss approaching that of the fabled ichor. It also signals to gentleman callers a proper lady is willing to be pursued in the most genteel and upright manner, befitting her station. Why, my cheeks flush hotly just thinking of the delights of beef stew, tincture of rosemary, and the protracted courtship of a gentleman caller, bashfully professing love whilst imagining his lady fair's delicate and womanly virtue! |
| I never thought I wanted to rape a stew but jesus christ get me to the confessional!!!!! |
| Eggs. Just dozens of plain, hardboiled eggs. |
Guess it can seem amusing, but a very serious DSM-IV diagnosis for the multiple poster is in order. |
| I like to serve it with "BAM!" (food industry term -- I learned a lot from watch Food Network). |
| This is hilarious... I clicked on this thread to see what ideas the OP had received because I do make beef stew a lot. Each time I scroll down I expect to finally see a real response but NOPE! Too funny. |
| Serve with a side-bowl of mother's tears and a big plate of regret. |
