My friend went and had a great time. I was happy for her, and very relieved I had not gone with her!!!

My most life-changing events were my 2 natural childbirths - one was very traumatic, the other completely wonderful... apart from being "reborn" each time as a parent, it opened my eyes on how much of pain is purely psychological.
