Has your dentist recommended sealing your 6 yo's molars?

We decided against sealants when they were offered (about 4 years ago for our oldest) and our dentist was fine with it. None of our kids have ever had any cavities.

Our dentist recommended it for one kid because she was cavity prone, but not for the other as he was not cavity prone. We did as recommended.

Our dentist wants to seal my 17-year-old son's molars. He brushes and flosses daily and has NEVER had a cavity. Should I question this more?

yes. If he's 17 already with 0 cavities, he's doing great as is.

I had sealants as a child and I am 40. Very few cavities and I had braces for years.
