Margaritas or alternative for a crowd

This isn't meant to be sarcastic - but what's the difference if you're drinking anyway? 1 oz of alcohol in a cocktail is equal to a glass of wine or a beer.

That's a good question! Actually, in my non pregnant life I really enjoy drinking liquor. But in pregnancy, I have no taste for it. Just tastes toxic.

Where I don't normally love beer, in late pregnancy a rich/dark beer tastes delicious. I think the beer has a lot of good food value.

OP - As an alternative, how about a pitcher of whiskey sours? Martha Stewart has a nice, sophisticated recipe, although it does call for fresh squeezed juices. . . .

(not Rose's, but real lime juice) I don't know if I had bad limes or what, but it took me 3-4 limes to get a couple of tablespoons for a recipe the other day.

I guess the question is whether your husband deserves real limes for his margarita for his 40th birthday.

I think if you don't love him very much then bottled is fine.

..........Mom? Is that you?
