Once it warms up, check out Annapolis, MD and St. Michael's, MD as well. Great waterfront towns with restaurants, historic buildings, shopping --- nice places to walk around by the water.

Definitely head to the local beaches -- the nice thing about them is that regardless of where you stay, you can easily head to another beach for restaurants, rides, shopping, etc. We typically stay in Bethany, but I grew up going to Ocean City and we always head to Rehoboth for the rides.

Our little ones love Williamsburg. We've been in the fall and the spring.

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is awesome! We prefer it to the National Zoo in DC. Our boys also love Fort McHenry. Fells Point in Baltimore is worth checking out (restaurants, shopping) --- you can head there after the aquarium in Baltimore.
