If you have a concern, you should ask the teachers. Every conference we have been to at the lower school - more than a dozen, the teachers have had detailed knowledge of our kid, backed up with examples of their work. The only problem we faced was the time limit on teacher conference day.

OP here. Thanks to everyone who commented. This is very useful feed back. I guess we did not go into the meeting with any particular questions in mind (a reflection of our satisfaction and happiness with our DCs experience at the school). We look forward to the February reports!
