send the uninsured to hospitals without any staff or doctors. Only the ones whoo work for free.

This already happens a lot in the US - free clinics staffed by non-profit doctors and nurses. However, surely you know this is not a reasonable solution. When they are pulling you from a car wreck, do you want them to verify your proof of insurance before providing you with emergency medical treatment?

no, we can treat major trauma emergencies. But any thing else gets care from people who work for free....like cancer and long term illness. Or if relatives want to work in other jobs for free to pay the care thats ok too. This country is broke. Anybody who thinks quality care is not very expensive is full of crap. Goverment health care will be cheap and crappy (like public schools...only worse). Its going to cost a lot and since we will be spending a lot it might as well be private/expensive and excellent.

If health care costs so much, why are the health care insurance companies making more money than the doctors, nurses, and hospitals?

They cost a hell of a lot less than the cost ofgovernment which has doubled since 1999. Spends a trillion more than it takes in each year.

That's mostly thanks to the idiotic wars that Bush got us into.

21:39, you keep changing the subject. Health care is craaaaazy expensive. Actually, no - it is all the middlemen that are getting rich, not the doctors and it certainly isn't going back to the patients. Well, then let's talk about the cost of government. WTH does that have to do with anything?
