I Just tried the vinegar, warm water and a scrub brush to get Yellow GAK out of my Husbands Flannel Jacket and it worked BEAUTIFULLY! Thank You SO much!! |
Will try thank you! |
I used 91% alcohol & it got it ALL out if
our microfiber couch!!! Lola in Benton, La |
The vinegar and water solution worked incredibly well! I sprayed it on, and scrubbed it right out with my fingers. Thanks so much for posting, I thought I was going to have to throw those clothes away. |
If your gack is like store bought hack I found the perfect way to get it out after reading these posts. One of my kids got gack in between our couch cushions and I consulted this forem I found, I tried the viniger but not really any luck so I had a little ball of gack in my hand and I started rolling it over the viniger soaked cushion and it started adhearing to the little roll in my hand believe it or not every bit of it rolled up. I tried it on the other cushion without viniger and it didn't work so I soaked it with viniger and a couple minutes it rolled up, you can't even tell it was ever there now... I hope this helps |
hey this girl in class put gak on my leggings and I cant get it out its like the resado of it. please help with solutions |
To get GAK out of car seats try mixing water and vinegar in a spray bottle more water than vinegar, and spray it on the GAK. Then take a toothbrush after about 10 minutes of letting it sit and scrub it. Wet the toothbrush first though. |
How do you get GAK out of towels?
|
|
???????? |
I totally used white vinegar, let it set about 2-3 mins and used a toothbrush and water and came right off!!!!!!! My son had gak all over his brand new shirt from camp today!!!! |
Apparently it is an instrument of the devil. It can only be defeated with the goodness of vinegar. Oh vinegar is there nothing you can't do? |
3" blob of dried blue gak removed from tan carpet!
First I peeled off the densest portion by soaking it with a water from a washcloth, and using pliers to grab and peel. Had to wet it several times, to loosen it, so I wouldn't damage the carpet. Then I used a flat screwdriver to pick away at the remaining solid bits. Then I used a mixture of water and vinegar (maybe 50/50) to dampen the stained areas, and scrubbed with the rough side of a sponge (not the sponge side). Then I soaked up the liquid with folded paper towels and stepping on the paper towels, about 5 times. Then I used water to dilute any remaining vinegar, and dried that. Saved us from replacing the carpet! |
