That's right, the PTA must get approval from the school for most things, why wouldn't they need approval for getting the yearbooks printed?

OP here. The child at the time was 6 years old and I don't know if there is a vampire as young as that. Sometimes the kid was rude though and sometimes very sweet.

At our school, the teachers are given the pages for their class to review for spelling errors etc..but there is no final approval of the book by the principal (and I doubt the principal would notice one child being missing). I am sure some teachers spent approx 30 seconds on it. If they have had some students leave/come during the year, even a count may not catch a missing student. I think you are assuming the worst..

btw - I was the yearbook editor at a high school, but there were no vampires in the student body.
