How to stop feeling annoyed by annoying neighbor

Anonymous
Idk, I often get hung up on someone being annoying or not acting the way I think they should be acting. No advice for you bit I wish I could talk to someone about why this or that person who are marginally in my life are annoying!

How can I stop feeling annoyed every time I see her? I already make sure not to talk to her. But oh gosh - she annoys me so much.

This sounds very immature. Unless this woman or her kid did something to your family to justify this level of dislike, you are being rude and incredibly childish. I don't love every single parent at our school but if our kids are in the same class, I'm generally capable of smiling and saying hello. I would need a very good reason to not hit that low threshold for community engagement.

It's called a therapist and you can definitely talk to them.

You haven’t shared what you find annoying. Are they loud? Don’t keep up their property? Mean? Gossipy?

I have a neighbor that annoys me. Her kids are the same age as mine and her annoying behavior is she often "one up" her kids over mine of I share something about my kid. I stopped sharing about my kids long ago. Additionally, frequently when she shares a story about something that happened with her kids, friends and her kids were there she makes it seem like her kids are the hero. They tried to stop things from happening or whatever. All I can think of is your kid was in the same situation as the other kids how is your kid any better than them in this particular story that you're sharing?

Kids are now in high school so it's been many many years. That said I just smile and take everything she says with a grain of salt because I consider the source.
She lives next door so I can't actively avoid her
