At Wakefield at least, the principal sent a message to parents saying that teachers would let admin know which students were exempt from their final and didn’t need to come in.

My kid was only exempt from one final but still had a couple of days with no tests because not every class had a final.

Our HS senior is now a graduate. Graduated almost two weeks ago. Downstate Virginia.

so my kid just got home from the bus. I'ts not even noon. What kind of half day is that?

You are quoting me. It is. This one didn't want any camps so we have two. One week half-days and one week with friends. Then ... camp parent.. I have some things in mind but not two weeks worth. We also have 4 weeks of vacation so there's that.
