Engineers who want space industry also target those companies who make the equipment and technology for it, including NorthrupG, Safran, IHI, L3Harris. Those and more are the super competitive internships stanford, CMU, and ivy engineers chase. Mostly mechE and aero, some is nanotech/materials too
