Appreciate the situation. I'm 44 and 5'6 and 144lbs. They just come off a lot slower now. I'm doing high protein (100-120g per day), heavy weights 3x a week, cardio 3 x a week and 12k steps a day and lose 2-3 lbs a month. 1400-1500 cals per day. What I will say is I am losing serious inches with the weight lifting and protein, even if the weight loss is slow, so that's good. And this is sustainable for my lifestyle. But yeah, slowwww weight loss.
