I have friend who is a real estate agent in a smallish town. She has a AI picture that is stylized to look cartoonish, in a fake office with fake signs and pets as her profile picture.
Another friend from my childhood has made AI cartoonish photos of her with all her pets from her whole life, including the ones that have died. So unfortunately, I definitely believe OP. |
I don't follow any content creators. That already sounds like a nightmare. |
I've never seen this either. And I don't follow "content creators" or "influencers." Pathetic. |
Same here. It's enough to spend so much less time online now which has been good for me. Lunch break is it for me these days, not before not after work am I online anymore wasting time. Now I'm spending more time exercising, reading, organizing, spending time with family. I feel happier as well. Win, win. |
| My kid thought it was funny to send a photo of me sitting in Keanu Reeves lap to my husband. We all had a good laugh and then everyone moved on. Except for me..I saved the photo and look at it once in a while thinking what a cute couple we make! |
This made me chuckle out loud! Love it. I too think I would Keanu and I would make a cute couple and now I have a way to visualize it
|
OP said "friends." And in any event, don't follow anyone who makes "content" with AI garbage. |
Very creepy unfortunately. |
Me too. |
This. I don't understand the phenomenon . . . do some people not find that off-putting? That kind of AI "art" often elicits a visceral negative reaction when I encounter it, and I find it odd that more people don't experience the same. |
| Meh...I haven't seen that but am just tired of the group pics and showing the happy life or #blessed pics. I'm all for milestones etc. but I've become so focused on mental health etc. I have stopped looking at insta/fb tik Tok etc. They capture a moment but doesn't represent a life of perfection |
| Today, these fake pics are easy to spot. In a few years you will not be able to tell a fake from a real photo or even video. |
