When I see women spending morning time every day on achieving perfect hair, I have intrusive thoughts to tell them to relax. It just looks crazy that grown are so focused on looks. |
I am biracial and live in New Orleans. This is the best product I’ve ever found for summer. |
PP you replied to. It's so sad you think that way. You seem to have absorbed ultra-rigid attitudes from your upbringing or environment. We'll just agree to disagree. Frizzy-haired people, just know that not everyone judges you like the above poster!!! |
Maybe we don't have the same definition of frizz, but I don't agree that frizz never looks good. |
DCUM prevents me from saying exactly what I think about your intrusive thoughts. You have no idea what you're talking about. |
NP? It’s not a good sign when the women in the “before” photos already have hair like what you’re praying to maybe achieve with the product! 🤣 Does this need to be heat activated? I am generally okay-ish in the cooler months when I can blow out my mess and make it behave, but in the DC summer, I can’t stand to heat up myself and the house with a blow dryer. What I really need in summer is a product that defines my waves while they’re air drying and prevents my hair from achieving its natural state of “swamp witch.” |
| ⬆️That should have been a statement. NP. Not NP? |
Agree, another poster here who would be thrilled for her hair to look like any of those “before” photos 😂. |
Maybe it allows you to assess whether your hair could look like the Before photo, given the state of your natural hair? BTW, all the Before photos look GREAT. That's not what I call frizz at all. |
Yes!!!! ❤️❤️ |
Ok. |
As someone with big, pouffy, frizzy hair, thank you PP for this post! |
Is it better than color wow? |
Never tried Color Wow. My hair stylist uses Good Behavior. I bought my own & it works really well. |
| Making sure the hair is properly moisturised and then sealing it smooth with heat (and heat protectant). I use Olaplex for shampoo/condish, K18 masque ever other shampoo, R+Co leave in condish spray, K18 oil, and Amika the Shield for humidity protection. I style with either the dyson airwap or airstrait. Finish with a small bit of Unite hair spray to set. K18 dry shampoo to touch up any oily sections and wash my hair on the 3rd day. |
