| I was similar to you OP. I lost 40 lbs on GLP1s 3 years ago. I felt great after I lost the first 20 lbs. But I stuck with it and lost another 20 and got down to BMI of 22 (my doctor didn't want me to be below 22). Based on the InBody I still have a little too much fat, but I am good with where I am. I've gained back about 5 lbs in maintenance, but that's okay, and I've recently upped the dose to try to get it back off. So I'd say keep going, at least until you get below 25 BMI. It made a difference to me. |
Fantastic! You should be proud of yourself |

Why not address the one thing you’re not feeling great about, which is exercising more, and see if anything changes? If you lose a bit more weight, great. If not, and you still feel wonderful, that’s a sign that you’re at a really good weight for you.
Great job, OP! I’m 46 and working on losing about 20 pounds without any drugs. It’s slow going, but I’m feeling a lot better with more exercise. |
I think 21-23 is the sweet spot for looks. But 24-25 is perfectly fine for health (for women). Women with BMI under 21 in middle age don’t look good and are likely accelerating bone loss/osteopenia |
