ASA: Thoughts

Chris is really one of the best out there. The senior coaches were great in my opinion. I have no regrets. I don’t hear a lot of complaints.

Chris really is. Jason is also great, and so is Bob for NTG. Better all round swimmer development and more individual coaching than the larger clubs.

So much more about how your child clicks with the team and coaches than the instruction. Lots of great coaches and training everywhere in this area.

Disagree. Both are equally important. A club can have great coaches overall, but a lousy one for your kid’s age group. Likewise, your kid could have a great coach, but s/he is giving the most attention to the faster kids (coaches dream of discovering the next Phelps or Ledecky, and fast kids want to swim for the top coaches).
