| "Gowns, beautiful gowns." |
I don't think her fashion choices are problematic, they're just...not great, imo. For as pretty as she is and as much money as she has, her looks always fall flat for me. And, again, I love her music, so this is not an attack! |
Moving in an entirely different direction, Danielle Frankel is a popular wedding dress designer who I believe runs in her social set (or she at least knows people who know Taylor). Taylor has been big into dark academia, basque waists, etc. lately so I could see her going in that direction, as well. Something like this:
|
| Another thought is Mira Zwillinger, who we've never seen Taylor in before, because she only designs bridal, but she designs gowns that are floaty, ethereal, floral...not unlike dresses Taylor has worn on the red carpet. I had some pictures of dresses similar to what I could see Taylor in but for some reason it wouldn't let me post pics, even though I just posted the ODLR and Danielle Frankel dress pics. Anyway. Look it up if you're interestesd lol. |
She's been into draping the last couple awards seasons so I could see stuff like this. |
|
She's also been into corsets the last couple awards seasons:
|
| I'm torn on if she will do a ball gown or a form fitting gown. I'm thinking ball gown for the ceremony and form fitting gown for the reception. |
Maybe Justin Alexander? He's a big bridal designer these days:

Agree, not an attack at all. I agree with the PP who noted that her lack of personal style is actually kind of endearing, and relatable. She does not have a cohesive personal style at all and is very trend driven. She's actually self aware about this to a great degree -- the whole premise of the "Eras" tour and promotion is the idea that she changes her style with every album and tour. That's why her costumes for that show range from big princess dresses to sexy catsuits to showgirl style corsets to feminine, deconstructed gowns. She's pop, she's rock, she's indie, she's country. This is the whole thing about Taylor Swift. I think that makes selecting a wedding gown hard -- presumably she is doing it with the belief it will be her only wedding, so there's pressure for it to be iconically "Taylor" in a way that literally nothing she's ever worn is. Which is why I agree she'll do a suite of dresses, probably something kind of princessy for the ceremony, something sexy and slinky for the reception, and something short and fun for the afterparty. Everything custom. Also she loves accessories so I would expect some of those, not just a veil (but definitely a veil for the ceremony) but hats, bags, fun shoes, etc. That's something pretty consistent about her style. Beyond these expectations, no idea. But again, this isn't an attack, just my read on her style after decades of observation. |
I was thinking about it, and I could definitely see her in Galia Lahav, but the designer is Israeli and that would be an interesting choice for a public figure right now. (Not saying I agree with it, but I don't agree with the guy who goes around Tatte locations with a megaphone calling patrons baby killers, and he still does it.)
^This one I think is very her, but she would definitely do white, not blush |
Let's try MZ dresses one more time - maybe I just posted too many:

JA actually has a new line, Poeza and it's also something I could see her in

You guys are going to make fun of me, but who remembers Pnina Tornai of Say Yes to the Dress fame lol. She's kind of rebranded so she's still dramatic and over the top but not as tacky as she used to be and I could definitely see Taylor wearing some of her newer designs.

All of these dresses are hideous. |
