My cholesterol is high.

Yeah, they’re going to tell you to change your diet and maybe if that doesn’t work, tell you to get on cholesterol meds. They won’t prescribe a GLP1 for that.

Wrong. They will and insurance will cover it if you have both bmi = or greater than 27 AND high cholesterol.

Yes. To the poster who uses plush care? Do they just go by what you tell them?

They order my weight with my labs to be taken at Quest. Only 1 out of the 10ish times I've gone has Quest actually taken my weight. Instead they just asked me for my weight.

Do they measure your height too ?

But did you go to Quest prior to the first prescription ?? Did they do blood draw before you started ? If so, what did they test?

I really appreciate all of your help !

They order your height, but only once has the Quest taken my height. And yes, they made me have a follow up appointment with my lab results before giving me the prescription.

Just strap on some ankle weights under your sweatpants if you're borderline weight wise.

Not necessarily. This depends on your employer and what they want to cover. Anthem dropped Zepbound and all weight loss drugs for us. We were covered then the plans changed. Now we have to pay out of pocket. So yes, we can still get prescriptions but we have to pay through Lilly if we want brand or get a compound.

High cholesterol. Healthy menopausal woman- but just below bmi 27. Very active weight lifter, exerciser, healthy eater.

Is there any place that doesn’t require a monthly subscription, but will do a one time visit/consult and prescribe?

You do not need a GLP-1, sweetheart, you need a psychologist.

This very much depends on the coverage your employer (or in your case, since you're clearly too dumb to hold a job, your husband's employer) has negotiated with the insurance company. More and more employers are not covering GLP-1
