Food served at daycare?

Anonymous
Our former daycare used Fairfax Food before switching to Good Food. At the time, Ffx food was *not* good -- very 70s school lunch hot-dogs-and-fries stuff. Things may have changed since then; it's been years.

Either the daycare or FF should be willing to fax you a monthly menu.

To the OP, that menu is a nightmare, I can't imagine my toddler eating things like hot dogs. I would imagine if you mention it to your doctor he/she would be more than willing to give you a note for your own food. Best of luck!

Getting a doctor's note is really no big deal. We had to get one because we are vegetarians, and the daycare we used didn't offer a veggie option. We simply wrote the note ourselves and had pediatrician sign it.

The only caveat was that I had to remind the daycare instructors every day that my daughter was a vegetarian and she needed to be served the lunch that I had brought.
