The signing of the paper, that Gary Cohn stole from his desk, was about a different but related matter, which would have ended up jeopardized the monitoring of the N Korean nuclear program. It's unclear whether Trump understood this or was aware of the totality of this highly secretive monitoring. What's important is the pattern: that highly trained and responsible aides to the President are forced to do stuff behind his back, or forced to confront him directly (and then get fired and replaced with idiots), to prevent potentially disastrous nuclear consequences. |
