Experience with competition math?

Money. $20 per class if they: attend class( which is once a week), spend about an hour on homework for each class, and participate twice per class (ask and/or answer 2 questions per class).

Started bribing when my older was in 5th grade. My younger is in 5th grade now. My older is in middle school now, and they get $20 each per class, so no increases with age since I started high. They would have accepted $10 in elementary school though, but I did a poor job negotiating. On the other hand, they do not get any allowance, so this is their only source of spending money outside of special events like birthdays and big holidays.
