Hmmm. Let's see, who do I believe?

A very well respected news magazine that has broken important stories and maintained its indepdnence?

OR

An unqualified and inarticulate bozo who emanates incompetence from an administration that LIES ALL THE TIME?

Tough one.

They published the story after this threat so they feel good about their sources. And BTW, they're not getting sued into oblivion. Patel obviously won't risk discovery.

Yep. They published and said “checkmate”.

The "see you in court" is so clownish. It's exactly what you say when you have no intention of taking it to court because you want to get in the last jab to try to influence public opinion.

And we all thought it would be Kegsbreath to crash out drunk first. Seems like Keg Patel is the winner. How soon before anti-booze Trump gives Keg Patel the heave ho? I hope it’s sooner than later.

I have a family member who works at the Pentagon and Hegseth rolling in late and hungover is an open secret.

The poster who claims thrle Atlantic is making this up is hilarious, like thr Atlantic isn't an extremely legitimate investigative source. But sure, one MAGA friend on Twitter is more legit. For these sources to go to the Atlantic is a big deal, meaning there are serious national security concerns.

The FBI of course won't actually sue because it opens them to discovery.

The FBI won’t sue. But Patel will. And I hope he buries The Atlantic.

Hey
@S_Fitzpatrick
I was Kash Patel’s Sherpa on the transition. I spent nearly all day everyday with him for 3+ months and have been with him frequently since.

I have never seen the type of behavior that you’re describing from him.

Your anon sourced story is BS.

Oh and by the way, it was no pressure campaign that got Kash confirmed. He did his homework, studied every brief I wrote him (and I wrote them all personally). If I sent him material at say 2am, he would respond with questions by 3am. He was always available and never hard to reach. Ultimately, he addressed any concerns senators had. He studied the law enforcement issues in each of their states and came prepared with plans, ideas, and questions for addressing the unique law enforcement needs of each state. THAT is who Kash Patel is and it’s why the FBI has been so effective in the last year.

I’ve never once seen him over drink. Not once. You are spinning that narrative because you know POTUS doesn’t view that favorably, even admitted as much in your story.

And I’m not hard to find. Pretty obvious why you didn’t reach out to me for comment.

Yeah, the big tell is this post is way too defensive. And he would respond to questions by 3 AM? GMAFB. That's trying WAY to hard. And BTW, we ALL saw him drink at the Olympics.

Drunk? Nope.
He was drinking a beer.

You should be hoping he gets fired. Bravo Atlantic. Boo any douchebag who supports Patel. He is an incompetent, corrupt, idiot.

I think you're confused. PP was saying Patel won't sue (because a) he'd lose and b) he'd open himself to discovery that would confirm everything in the article).

Zero chance. I mean ZERO chance he sues because there is no way he wants discovery. You know that his lawyer's post was really about? Saving his job with Trump.

Patel also massively and publicly botched the Charlie Kirk shooting investigation. Those chickens haven't even fully come to roost yet, his interference with evidence could cause serious problems at trial.
