Tons to do for tweens. Decent waterpark, ropes course, dry slide, etc.

Giant main pool for group gatherings.

The larger ships on NCL would do the trick too. Depends on the itinerary. We liked the MSC Kids programming and kids club better.

Mexican Riveria cruises are great at Christmas time.

We did MSC World America over xmas break to Carribean. It was great with 11 year old. The bumper cars, F1 racing, water park, ropes course, etc.. all big hits. My kid is an only and he loves the kids club too and makes friends and they do fun activities.

It’s a great ship and new ship and would recommend.

Were you Yacht club? I’ve been thinking about trying MSC, but I’ve heard so many mixed reviews about the food and service!

I’m the first poster who recommended MSC World America. We did Aurea which granted spa access, anytime dining, smaller dining room and other amenities. It was great!

Overall we enjoyed the food better than a previous cruise on NCL. Our only complaint was we wished there was more Indian food at the buffet because that is our favorite on NCL.

Main dining room could be hit or miss at times but that’s to be expected. Lots of healthy food in the buffet. The habachi was spectacular. We splurged for the top tier menu supplement and it was worth every penny.

We’re going back again this summer. Might splurge for Yacht Club in a few years when kids are older.

Pp—another plus on World America. Most nights you can have the kid club take your kids to dinner with the group. Our 9 y/o made tons of friends and preferred going with them. Unexpected date nights were nice!
