Yes. IJ had a video and got Kane fired. They did not remain close, nor did IJ remain close to Kane's kids. But IJ used Kane's death to act like they were all tight, even taking Kane's dog. He had not seen the kids in a VERY long time but did a tribute to them. Those close to the family were very disturbed. |
Crazy, this is what the station was back in 1997! Just music, no DJs and live news/traffic. All comes around. |
I'm guessing Intern John's "agreement" with iHeart finally ran out. He had evidence that iHeart knew about Kane's abusiveness toward staff and did nothing about it until Erik finally had enough. |
I loved sos’s buttocks this can’t be true |
Yep, 100%. He's very lucky he lasted as long as he did. |
| Never wish for anyone to be laid off, but just going after John/Sos/Hoody while leaving Rose and Erick alone smells odd. Wonder if there is more to it? |
| I love Intern John. He is a staple in the am. This is a bad idea. |
| TIL it's "SOS" not "Sauce" |
| Heard them advertising some new show that starts Thursday - The Fred Show. Not local, I guess, which would have been nice. |
Looks like it's a show out of Chicago. |
| IJ posted a video on his insta yesterday. Erick was let go, Rose was not. |
| Wow! I have not listed to any morning radio show consistently in years (used to listen to Kane and Bobby Bones all the time) but forgot my phone running errands and turned on 99.5 this morning. I didn’t recognize the voice and realized something was up. Intern John and Erick have been there forever. |
What a coincidence because the new show just started today. |

Kane abused the staff? Wow.
Never cared for IJ either and surprised he lasted as long as he did. |
