One problem with an inaccurate figure is that now it is being repeated.

We just visited. The town was better than I expected, after reading so many negative comments about it. DC didn't love Schenectady and would prefer a bigger city, but liked the campus, as well as the students and profs we met there. It appears to have a no-joke engineering program and the pre-med/health advising is robust. Overall we were impressed with the programs and the STEM facilities, which are considerable for a SLAC.

Not really. There are a lot of smaller liberal arts colleges with 40-50% in Greek life. 20% of men in Greek life is hardly “fratty.”
