Any recs on where to get new tires within the beltway (NOVA side but willing to drive if worth it)

| I guess if you have Costco membership and shop there anyways it is a good place to get tires. Their selection of tires is a lot smaller than tirerack and prices are not that much lower for me to get a membership and drive there just to get my tires installed |

Costco’s tire selection is absolutely pathetic for tires in the size we needed. They had TWO tires. TWO. That’s it. Useless. |

Quality Discount Tire & Auto in Kensington. Or, as others have suggested, online at tirerack and have them shipped to a local shop for install. Costco is also a good options but their selection is often limited. |

The thing about Costco is they sell top tire brands. I bet your choice was Michelin and Goodrich (maybe even Bridgestone). Those are quality tires. We once bought a used car that came with new tires. It was an off brand. 24k miles in and those tires had an internal belt go bad and the sound and hum was so loud. You could hear car a mile away. We swapped in better tires. You get what you pay for with tires. |

As has been mentioned here before, you need to stick to the terms of the warranty. You have to get the tires rotated every 12 months. If you exceed that, good luck getting Costco to perform any warranty work on the tires. |
