I suck at hydrating and it’s causing problems

Most people get adequate hydration by drinking coffee and eating food. I would be skeptical if there were serious issues with bloodwork that the doctor was attributing to “dehydration.” Are the bloodwork numbers actually bad or just a little out of range or on the high end?

It’s odd that a thread has been started for a “problem” where the solution is literally as easy as…drinking water.

Why do you have to be thirsty to drink? Just set your watch to prompt you.

Why can't you leave a water bottle at work and fill it when you get there? Or give one of your kids the job of reminding you to bring your water bottle in the morning?

I don’t really like drinking water all day but love herbal tea ( unsweetened). Maybe try a water alternative?

OP, have you looked into commercial IV therapy?

Just kidding, drink water, dummy.

Do you drink water with meals? When I was struggling with staying hydrated I started with making sure I took sips of water between most bites of food. It helped, and once the hair was fired it started to become hard to eat without also drinking something.
