Naltrexone?

So I would make sure you're doing it on conjunction with some therapy, rehab, etc (even just an online support group) as I don't really know how effective it is by itself.

Watch the documentary “one little pill”. And pcp are reluctant to prescribe because they don’t know enough about it.

I too would love to get this prescribed for me. Same issue. I did get it from overseas and it worked well, but I'd just like to get it here in the US. I only took it for 2 months and it worked well. I don't want it in my medical file that I'm an alcoholic.

Someone mentioned GLPs. Yes! They work really well. On the higher dose, I didn't want alcohol. I'd have a glass of wine with friends and it would be hard to finish it. However, you can't stay on the high dose forever. I'm at the low end now of my weight and don't want to lose any more. I'm micro dosing GLP and it's pretty good. I still will have 1-2 drinks (but only about 2 nights a week) but no more. I take 10-15 units. The drug itself is also beneficial to your liver.

I liked hard liquor and I completely switched to those vodka seltzers. That's been helpful for me long term because they don't have the same instant hit that liquor has. It was also easier to control the amount I was drinking because I wasn't entirely sure how much liquor I was drinking before.

Best of luck!
