Jeans and a t-shirt/sweater.
I feel sick if I stay in pajamas during the day. |
| Fleece pajamas. |
I'm an elder Millennial and I wear slacks, though I sometimes describe them as "work pants" so other people don't roll their eyes like you. |

Skirt and tshirt if nobody will drop by. If someone might drop by, then somewhat sleek looking wide leg sweatpants or jeans plus a sweater or quarter zip. Usually watch ering, wedding ring.
The biggest difference in sloppy vs not imo is whether you brush your hair or not! I see lots of ratty or greasy buns and ponytails. I have dark hair so it looks greasy if I don’t keep it freshly washed. Brushing with a quality brush keeps it looking “coiffed” without styling. |
| Today, leggings from Marshals and a $250 Patagonia sweater. |
I'd rather look sloppy and not wash my fine hair every day. It gets damaged so easily. When it gets greasy. between washes, I put it in a low bun. Sorry you're all offended, PP, but my hair health comes before your hair esthetics. |
Oh I don’t care or judge what other people do. Feel free to not wash your hair daily. I try to skip if I know I’ll be mostly home for the day. Just telling OP what sticks out to me. Maybe bc I am self conscious of my own hair! |
lol srsly. If you have to ask *eyeroll* |

"Slacks" is always boomer coded. Tell me that you lived your prime years in the 1970s without telling me. |
You can be skinny and still be sloppy looking. OP’s problem is that she’s just wearing straight up PJs! |
Plus a pocketbook. |
Why are you shaming people for asking for help? Plenty of us are skinny with no fashion sense or interest, but we still want to fit in and feel good. I'm not ashamed to ask for help. I mostly copy my younger sister's style for athleisure, and for nicer clothes, I have a stylist at Nordstrom who has helped me for years. I get compliments on what she picks out. I feel totally overwhelmed when I walk into a large department store, and I am happy to have help. |
Well, you must have gotten the word from your grandmother. |
