No country should be “neutralized” - that’s thinking like a six year old. All nations have competing interests and you navigate those interests via statecraft, diplomacy, trade, and (only as the last resort) military action coordinated with allies.

Treason has a very narrow definition and Jan 6 wasn't quite there. Having said that he should have been convicted on that second impeachment - Mitch McConnell failed us.
