It depends on your definition of pinnacle. IMHO, pinnacle means at the top, built on other work. Most of the artistic elections given here, don't rely on underlying accomplishments.
Proof of Fermat's Last Theorem is a pinnacle work. If someone manages to prove P=NP, that's possibly the pinnacle. |

While the base system is Indian, the specific, modern shapes of the numbers (0-9) were adapted and modified by Arab mathematicians over several centuries. Therefore, they are more accurately referred to as Hindu-Arabic numerals. |
