No, not just a Blair thing for Health. Your kid can take it virtually during the school year, at zero cost. |
Oh, interesting. So it's not really actually a 9th period in the school day, they just call it that? |
| There is no 9th period health. Don’t bother the counselor when you can google this stuff. It’s probably full for the spring now, but new registration will open in the fall for next year. |
| Has anyone whose counselor signed them up for summer school received any confirmation about this? I don't see anything in parentvue and we have not been asked to pay, so just worried it didn't go through. |
Same here. |
Nothing yet, but this is how it also worked last year and it was fine. They will send the payment request eventually. Specific class info doesn’t come until much closer to the start of the session. |
We received a copy of a Google form from our guidance department. |
| Our counselor confirmed receipt of our Google registration form but no other confirmation via PatentVue/email/etc. |
Our counselor didn't do the Google thing. So there is no confirmation whether we are actually registered for the class. |
It is not for the counselor to complete the google form. Parent or student must do so. |
| At our school the parents were not involved at all. We asked for the google form, like they have done in the past, and the school said they were changing things and only the counselors were signing the kids up. The kids had to go meet with the counselors to request summer school and the counselors completed the paperwork. Supposably. |
At our school, there was no google form. We emailed the counselor to tell them that we wanted to take the class, and she said she enrolled our kid (but we haven't had confirmation through a request for payment or anything). - DP |
Same as our school |
| Just received the School Cash Online invoice for my kid's summer school class, so that's a good confirmation of registration. |
| Are those of you with rising 9th graders reaching out to their current middle school counselor or their future high school one? |
