Huh? They are on that list. |
| Sorry, thought everyone was referring to top tier. Thanks. |
| Mlsn ad is essentially a second team at every club. That is acceptable for ppa, they were most frequently in 2nd division in edp at younger ages. Remove the fancy league name and its second team level. |
The 2014s are playing the top division this year and ended up second in the fall season. Like it or not, some of their teams are doing well. The MLSN label will hopefully help attract new decent players and make the struggling age groups more competitive too. |
Yes it is - "The Player Progression Academy" - PPA. |
THE Player Progression Academy. Scroll right. On the boys side, I will repeat what I said with DC Soccer. There is a lot of boys talent in the city spread out at Achilles, Bethesda, SYC, Arlington, Alexandria, Potomac and McLean. There is even talent on smaller clubs like DC XI, City Sporting, WCU, DC Way, etc. MLS understands the DC market is underserved and probably has thrown out the badge to these two clubs to see if they can do something with it over the next 3 years. Parents should kick the tires on both clubs and determine if they are able to meet their kids needs. Both organizations have a few quality coaches dependent on the age group. Visit practices, attend tryouts, ask questions and see if it is right for you without judging the label. |
| We are a PPA family and just received an email officially announcing that they were accepted to MLS Next AD. They added an extra ID session this Saturday (3/14) for U15-U19 for those interested. https://www.ppateam.com/post/ppa-accepted-into-mls-next-academy-division-what-this-means-for-our-players?utm_campaign=Email+Marketing&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=SendGrid |
Did they also disclose the price increase? |
During McLean Premier? |
not yet |
isn't that McLean weekend just for ulittles? |
| Didn’t PPA used to have some fake pathway to pro marketing thing with DC United? Isn’t this fake marketing thing a step down from that? |
| So PPA is only fielding MLS Next AD teams for U15 and older? Why not U13 and U14? |
That's a DC United problem, not PPA. |
