Breast pain!!!

I'm almost 60, at the tail end of menopause. I remember those days. There were days I did not wear a bra around the house. The old wives tale is to hold cold lettuce or cabbage leaves to your sore breasts. I didn't do that but I did use very thin cold compresses a few times. They probably sell tailored compresses these days on Amazon, etc. if you go look for such things. I haven't looked, but I would be surprised. Aching breasts is a part of the fun. It does end, though! There's hope. I feel fantastic these days. Hang in there.

Does the night sweats, feeling hot and aniexty sense of doom end? I feel like I can't handle anything right now.

I used to get significant pre-menstrual breast pain and a daily calcium supplement cured it. Consider trying 1200mg of calcium daily (divided into two doses) to see if it helps.
If you also take an iron supplement or a multivitamin with iron, take the calcium at a different time. Divide the calcium into two doses and take with meals. For example, take your multivitamin with breakfast, and then calcium at lunch and another calcium at dinner.

Did she have pain in both breasts at the same time? What was her age?

Breast pain is not typical for breast cancer.

I’ve had breast cancer. The only pain I had was sharp fleeting pain at night for like 2 seconds. The doctor said it was probably a nerve or something pulling on the tumor. It was just one side, not both.

How long did it last?

I honestly don't remember, like two weeks. It felt like how my breasts hurt when I was newly pregnant.
