Some of us have saved and can afford undergrad and grad school. But we realize not everyone can.
My kid has chosen a Top 3 program for grad school and even in this market, the kids graduating have jobs (think MIT/CMU for engineering type degree)

Law school is only worth it if you go to a T14. Then you need to strive for Biglaw and make partner.
