Cape May or Wildwood, NJ?

| +1 for Wildwood Crest. It’s in the middle, not as crazy as Wildwood proper and should have more availability then Cape May. |

| I would agree with Wildwood Crest. Cape May is great but so expensive to stay, even if mid August is a little less than July. |

| Chiming in again on Wildwood Crest. Family vibe, still has a number of funky MCM motels you can rent for reasonable prices even in the peak of summer. I love Cape May, but that’s not what you’re looking for on this trip. |

| I would also recommend Wildwood Crest. A few years ago we did meet up for an extended family holiday in Wildwood proper- TBH we had not done proper research and my siblings and parents had strict budgets so that's where the most houses in their desired price range were available. It was ok- we were closer to N. Wildwood and the beach was ok enough, but wouldn't make that mistake again! Wildwood Crest seemed much nicer. |
