when you see something online or in store at great price.

Depends on what it is because I don't have a ton of storage space. We have some, but not a lot.

If I see something that truly is a really great deal and it is something I use all the time, I might buy two. I never buy something that is a really good deal if it isn't something I needed anyway or that I regularly use.

I do shop at Costco, which does mean that I buy a really large thing of laundry detergent that lasts for a year or so, etc. So I do buy in "quantity" in that way, I guess.

Is it whiskey? I'll hoard whiskey.

Unless you’re under 20, you should be looking to hoard brain cells.

Enough with the stupid posts.

Not buy it bc I wasn't planning to

DH: - buy a few

Me: - not buy it because you don’t know enough about prices to know if it’s a good deal

Buy 2. I don't have a lot of storage space and I am often walking home with my purchases.

I buy anything fron 3-6 depending on what it is and store it away.

Tooth paste i keep 5 tubes, 2 detergents 3 contact solutions, 1 each shampoo/conditioner, 6 razors, 4 bounty, 20 rolls of toilet tissue, 2 kleenex etc. Always stored in the linen closet as extra.

As for soda/gatorade/sparkling ice 4 cases each

My rule of thumb is to never have more than a 6-month supply. We have some extra storage space, but I hate how crowded and cluttered it feels if we have a lifetime supply of everything.

So, like, a case of cat food that we use up in a month? I might buy a few of them. Giant container of laundry detergent that'll last 4 months? No more than the one we're using now + one extra.

Are you the same one who uses the term mansplaining? Now insulting disabled people?

Go look in the mirror and do better.

Buy a few, but I know exactly the price I was willing to pay and it better match it or be lower.

Like a previous poster, I buy a lot and store it, we have plenty of space

I have a friend who is a couponer. Her basement is a literal cvs. With aisles.

It depends on what it is. I like La Llave espresso and only buy that brand so if it's on sale I will stock up on several bricks. If it's cat litter I will buy just a couple bags because I don't want to store too many huge bags of it.
