| Quaint towns, low crowds, walk to beaches, excellent seafood with coastal views - love it. |
| It is one of my favorite places in the US but I love mansions, gardens, history, beaches, and sailing. |
| Rhode Island beaches are among the nicest on the east coast IMO. |
| I want to go as kind of a family history trip. |
| I like it. |
Hmm. Not sure I'd say that though. |
Definitely not if you prefer Myrtle Beach. |
| Then you probably don’t like all of Cape Cod either? It’s beach, dining, seafood, cliffwalk, and sailing. What did you think it was going to be? |
Guess you haven't traveled much! No, they're not, there isn't any good waves! Hilton head and FL have the beaches on the east coast hands down. |
| Why don’t you trust your own opinions? |
|
It’s…Rhode Island, what do you expect lol?
Reminds me of that Wayne’s world quote…”I’m in….Delaware.” |
Op here. Oddly, I absolutely loved Martha’s Vineyard FWIW. I enjoyed MV more than Nantucket and Cape Cod. |
| It is a go once or twice location, not a return to annually destination. |
Cape Cod beaches are the prettiest IMHO, but the water is a little too cool for me and I hear about too many sharks.. My favorite east coast beaches are on Cape Hatteras. |
| You shoulda been there 100 years ago, when it was really jumpin'. Been going slowly downhill since then. |
