Tips for estrogen patch use?

I change my patch weekly and keeping it on is a struggle. That said, I also can’t ever get them on time at CVS, so I just asked my doc if I could switch to a different mode of estrogen.

I have a terrible time keeping the weekly one on when I am at the beach and have sunscreen on. I already use an alcohol wipe before applying. I am now trying to find a waterproof cover for my huge .01 size patch.

Try different brands. I pay out of pocket for a brand name (Climara), which sticks much better and leaves much less irritation than the generic covered by my insurance.
