My book club had great discussions about Shark Heart and Sky Full of Elephants.

My favorite book no one has heard of is The Lonely Hearts Hotel by Heather O'Neill.

This. Best book ever!

My book club had a great discussion for Pachinko. We also liked Homegoing, maybe not quite as universally.

Homegoing started very strong, but petered out as it went along, and I too found it hard to get to the finish--which is sort of NOT what you want for book club.

My book club just read this and we all mostly enjoyed it! There are some heavy parts that people weren’t quite prepared for based on the book jacket and cover. But everyone agreed it was super interesting and engaging.

Surprised to see so many big fans of this book! I gave it a 3 on Goodreads... but I don't recall what I disliked about it!

The Alice Network would be a great book club pick, and it's not new so should be available at the library.

BTW I was in a book club with people who complained about not being able to get the selection from the library. We started picking the books 2 months in advance and that helped a lot.

If you like The Alice Network I’d recommend The Rose Code. Those two were my absolute favorites of hers.
