How would the colleges know? These girls were foreigners whose transcripts could easily be faked. Heck, many Chinese students faked their way to US top colleges. I have read several names who were Americans. And the fact that you are peddling the idea that these girls were "foreigners" make you very suspicious in my eyes.

He likely didn't go through "normal admissions people" since there was nothing normal about their admissions.

Those higher up had to have suspected and looked the other way. It wasn't so long ago that we could claim "it was another time."

Actually, it’s easier for domestic girls. The scum could just open a “school” for each girl (she’s then the valedictorian!). Check out the book “Miracle Children” that chronicles how a couple opened a “school” (not accredited by their state) and consistently sent kids to HYPSM! There, not even $$$ or connections is needed. The scum here is a highly skilled con man who managed to build a network of powerful and wealthy men (and some women). How hard is it for him to con a few dozen top college spots?

NYC specialized high schools have also produced many Nobel Prize winners and artists. It is a city with millions of people. You dont have to send your kids here, but it is not hurting for people.

The woman who is the point of this thread was his girlfriend for almost a decade. She was poised to inherit a large number of his assets, until they were taken by the state. If that’s trafficking - being a longtime girlfriend to a rich but morally corrupt man - we’re going to have to re-define a lot of women out there.
